Houston, we've got a + OPK!

WOOHOO! Oh what beautiful purple lines, I love them! So this positive plus the fact that my ovaries feel like they're about the size of grapefruits leads me to believe we might be getting somewhere at last! I have my follie-scan tomorrow, so here's hoping for good news! I'll update once I know whats going on. I heart Femara! :)

Yes, OPK's are ovulation predictor kits or tests. I use them every month and usually ovulate about a day after I get a +. Thanks for keeping me in your prayers! :)How are your temps doing?

I'm on D8 today. They are pretty steady, up and down within 0.1 of each other. So, that's good! They were very up and down the first few days. I've never used the ovulation kits before but just bought one yesterday. I thought it couldn't hurt to have the extra help. Here's to some Sept/Oct positive pregnancy tests!!!!!!!!

Hope you like the OPK's, they are a life svaer for me. takes a lot of the guess-work out, even with the temping! Little tip for those though... I didn't kow this for a long time and it causede a lot of confusion for me... Your LH surge (what the OPK is designed to pick up) usually happens in the afternoon. While with pregnancy tests we're urged to use FMU (first morning urine) its the opposite with OPK's. If you test in the morning it may look negative but you can (and usually do) surge in the afternoon, so by the next day you'd likely miss it. I always test around lunchtime to mid afternoon. Hope that helps!
